Can I come by myself or do I need a partner?
It is a couple dance, but in classes we change and dance with everyone - so you do not need a partner.
What do I need to bring to classes?
Your best attitude and eagerness to learn, a change of shoes (flats or heels), and deodorant and other methods of hygiene so everyone has a great experience.
What if I do not know what my level is?
The studio offers tryout classes listed in the schedule. If we feel that you are in the wrong class for the level, we will find other days and solutions for your best learning experience.
Can I take multiple level classes at the same time?
Students may take classes as both leader and follower, but the studio advises against different roles in the first 6 months of learning bachata of one role.
Can I pay in person or only online?
Single class payments are online. For courses, to secure your spot you will be charged a set amount for the Try Out class and the rest will be paid on the spot, both by card or cash.
How long do the courses last?
All couple class courses take 8 weeks, however solo classes are open, so you can come in any week.
Can I skip classes and go other days?
If you have paid for the course, there is no refund or going to other classes based from the paid course, unless the teacher determines eligibility for level advancement.
How long are the classes?
Classes are mostly 60 minutes with a break of 5-10 minutes in between. Students should arrive on time or early to change.
